Fleeting images:
35mm multi-image projection

I began producing 35mm multi-image (dissolve) shows in 1975, with the purchase of a Spiratone manual dissolve. I was hooked by the breathtaking beauty of the projected image, the optical dissolve and emotional appeal of images and music blended together before a live audience. For the next 30 years, my multi-image programs provided entertainment and inspiration for audiences throughout the region.

At the peak of my work, I was using a 3-projector setup with aClearlight MP3 programmer/dissolve running the cues off a Tascam 234 deck.

I retired my slide-show production work in 2005, choosing to concentrate on Living Images on DVD Productions. Many of my favorite multi-image shows are making their way on DVDs through this outlet. I still have my slide projection equipment and offer it here for sale in case any other film photographer would like to pursue this fascinating, visually engaging media at a fraction of my original cost.
